I have my grandfather's fiddle. I live in eastern Oregon area. He grew up in Pilot Rock/ Pendleton area in eastern Oregon. When I inherited his fiddle I looked inside it has a small handwritten note glued to the inside that says repaired and graduated by John Nordstrom, Walla Walla, 1919. I have not been able to find out anything about this John Nordstrom and would be interested in hearing any information anyone would be able to give me about this man. Thank you so much. Or other sources that I could do research about him LLP

Beth,
That is a great story! I will do some research and see if I can find anything for you. Any chance you can send a pic of the violin and a pic of the note? I know it will be hard to get a pic of the note through the F hole, but it will be a great piece of info for the family I any of us can help locate relatives of John Nordstrom.
