Below is a description of the 3 options in the drop-down menu:
Grade A -- Neck stock may be reduced to Grade A as a result of grain runout, pin-knots, less desirable grain orientation, or micro-checking. These blanks are guaranteed Usable, though may in some cases require extra attention e.g. routing near knots or gluing up end checks.
Grade AA -- These mid-grade necks are comparable to what you can expect from any of the most popular lutherie suppliers,... They may contain pin knots, 'off-quarter' grain, or curved grain, though to a lesser extent than Grade A.
Grade AAA -- You can expect AAA blocks to be free of visible knots within the neck pattern area, free of any checking, and straight-grained.
